I guess everybody knows that there are a lot of award-winning scientists born in Germany, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that anyone who aspires to be a scientist needs to learn German.
Writers, philosophers and scientists need to learn German.
… As far as I know, it ranks second as the most commonly used scientific language. The German book market is the third largest in the world. Few of these books are translated into other languages, so knowing German will give me access to them.
Some unique academic books exist only in German.
True — False — Not stated
Ловушка ЕГЭ: not stated
I’m going to take part in the TV show “Friends».
Dan is going to star in the TV show “Friends”. Это not stated.
Surgeons in the USA earn a lot of money.
People in the USA earn a lot of money. Это not stated.
3) Not stated —
We have just been dating for 2 weeks.
Marcus is going to get married in 2 weeks.
Это not stated.
4) когда составители добавляют категоричность (the most, very well, the only), то будь на чеку, это скорее всего not stated.
Did you go with your grandparents? Of course, my grandma loves Europe, so she chose France this time…
It’s Kelly’s first visit to France. Это not stated.
Growing flowers is the activity and craft of growing plants, with a goal of creating a wonderful and amazing world around.
The process of growing flowers requires a lot of patience, love and care, but the amazing result is worth trying.
A hobby for people
Creating beauty isn’t easy
in/for/to/at my surprise
do/make a mistake
Например, распространенное и всем известное выражение to make an appointment будет заменено на более редкое to keep an appointment.
Randomly превратится в at random.
Знакомый фразовый глагол carry out/ on попадется в его редком употреблении — carry over to, который даже не в каждом «полном» справочнике к ЕГЭ дается.
Ask 3 questions about his French classes. Т.е.
Ask 3 questions about her new dress.
Ask 3 questions about her exams.
Where will the exams take place?
Will the exams be in written form?
How long will they last?
Are you prepared for the exams?
I have collected some data …
I have been working on the school project … This project contains information compiled from an opinion poll …
50% of THE students.
Make 1-2 comparisons where relevant.
It can be inferred that …
It can be inferred that reading about feeling and nature does not appeal to many teenagers in Zetland.
In my opinion
I believe
From my point of view …
location
opening hours
price for one …
duration of …
discounts for students
membership fee (tuition fee/ entrance fee)
What is the membership fee?
How much is the membership?
Do you charge an admission fee?
How much is the membership fee?
number of people
How many people are there in the group?
What is the number of people?
accommodation for the night
Do you offer/ provide any accommodation for the night?
Do you have accommodation for the night?
probation period
Is there any probation period for new employees?
delivery time
How long does the delivery take?
How long is the delivery time?
air-conditioning
Is there air-conditioning?
Is the restaurant air-conditioned?
…..whether you like to communicate with your friends in person …
… whether you would like to live without gadgets and why.
… which leisure activity you would prefer and why
…. which of these …. you preferred as a child
…. what the best way of ….ing is for you and why

Now, point to each part of the flower and ask if they know what it is called. Let them know the name and then print the name on a label and show it to them. Draw a basic picture of that part on the strip of paper and repeat the name.
Do this for each part of the flower: Flower, leaf, stem, root
Place these labels on different pieces of paper in the middle of circle.
Now pass out pieces of the artificial flowers.
Ask each child to identify which part of a growing flower they have and place it on the proper labeled paper.

Oases
Oases are areas where trees and plants grow around a body of water in the middle of a desert. They are ( USUAL ) phenomena because there is so little water or vegetation in desert areas.
How does the water in an oasis get there? It doesn’t come from the sky, but rather, from underneath the ground. Believe it or not, there are underground rivers and layers of rock which contain water beneath the ( SAND ) desert floor.
Pressure from underneath these water sources pushes the water to the surface. In other cases, people have drawn the water out ( ARTIFICIAL ), through the use of man-made wells.
An oasis can be quite small, only able to support a limited number of trees and to supply a little water for those who pass by. Other oases are big enough to supply considerable populations of people with ( DRINK ) water.
People who survive on oases must be very ( CARE ) with how they use the water, because they must use it to grow food as well as to drink.
Many oases have survived for years. They have been of great ( IMPORTANT ) in terms of setting up trade routes across the desert.
