I really want to visit one of the most unusual and mysterious countries in the world, Japan. Everyone has undoubtedly heard the words, that were unclear not long ago but now entirely entered the Russian language — samurai, geisha, sakura, ikebana, sumo, origami, sushi and others. Besides, everyone has heard about the tea ceremony and other wonderful Japanese traditions. Of course, now everything has changed there, but it still remains a very interesting and attractive country for tourists. Even the informal name of the country is romantic — the land of the rising sun.	Я очень хочу посетить одну из самых необычных и загадочных стран мира — Японию. Все, конечно же, слышали, ещё недавно малопонятные слова, а сейчас плотно вошедшие в русский язык — самурай, гейша, сакура, икебана, сумо, оригами, суши и другие, а кроме этого, все слышали о чайной церемонии и других красивых японских традициях. Конечно, сейчас там всё изменилось, но всё же она остаётся очень интересной и привлекательной страной для туристов. Даже неофициальное название страны и то романтичное — страна восходящего солнца.
So, at the moment Japan is one of the most developed countries in the world, and its economy is considered to be the best among other countries. Despite its small size, its population is almost the same as in Russia — more than 126 million people, but life expectancy is much longer — over 85 years! What attracts me in Japan most of all? It is probably its unusualness. The life of the Japanese is very different from our or European life. Of course, I am also attracted to the sights of Japan. The most important ones that I would like to see are: Mount Fuji — the symbol of the country, the White Heron castle in Himeji, the Fushimi-inari temple in Kyoto, the Sky Tower in Tokyo, the Sagano bamboo forest in Kyoto, the Tosegu temple in Nikko, the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, the Todai-ji Temple in Nari, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, Kegon Falls, and a heap of other amazing places. Самые главные, которые я хотел бы посмотреть, это: гора Фудзияма – визитная карточка страны, замок Белой Цапли в Химедзи, храм Фусими-инари в Киото, телебашня Небесное дерево в Токио, бамбуковый лес Сагано в Киото, храм Тосёгу в Никко, Императорский дворец в Токио, Храм Тодай-дзи в Нари, мемориал мира в Хиросиме, водопад Кэгон и ещё огромное количество других потрясающих мест. Так как их много, и разбросаны они по всей стране, то потребуется достаточно много времени, чтобы всех их осмотреть.
But it’s a dream that’s why it is worth any time and money. I strongly believe that I will make my dream come true and visit this wonderful, but inaccessible country. My cherished dream is to visit Great Britain someday. At our English lessons we often “travel” throughout this country. There are a lot of wonderful sights there. And I would like to see everything with my own eyes.
And if I had such opportunity , first of all I would go to London to walk along the streets and hear the English speech and, I hope , that I would understand, what the English are speaking about . And, of course, I would try to communicate with them in their native language.
Then I would go to the Buckingham palace to see the real Queen there. I am sure she is as kind as my grandmother! And, of course, I would admire the Changing of the Guard. One day I saw this wonderful show on TV!
After that I would visit the London Tower and feed the ravens. They say, if the ravens fly away, the Tower will ruin?! Is it true?!
And besides I would visit the London parks because as I have read, they are so beautiful.
In Hyde Park, I would visit the Speaker`s corner, where I would say that I am happy to be here and want to make friends with the English.
In Regent`s Park I would visit the London Zoo. I have never visited the big zoos. It would be interesting to look at the animals who live there.
Returning home, I would buy souvenirs to all my relatives and friends. And as for me the trip to Great Britain would be the greatest gift!

Уезжая домой, я накупил бы всем моим родственникам и друзьям сувениров. А для меня самым большим подарком была бы сама поездка в Британию!

Finally, I like American food – burgers, hot-dogs, sandwiches, cheesecakes, donuts, pumpkin pie, etc.; so it would be nice to try these things in their homeland. If I can speak about places where I want to travel, my list will be endless. I like to travel a lot and I would like to see as many places as possible.

First of all I would like to see places completely different to Russia. It can be any Asian country with different culture and traditions. China and India are very popular now and many people go there for holiday and vacation. Just imagine that one day I wake up, eat Asian breakfast and walk along these streets. Maybe I could visit some museums or libraries and learn more about the country and people.

Another interesting place is Mexico. I have watched a cartoon “The book of Life” and now I have an interest to see it in the reality. This is absolutely different world with different holidays and traditions. Lifestyle of local people attracts me. These people like to have fun and they really enjoy the life everyday.

I would also like to explore Europe. Every country has its own history. Watching movies about Italy, Spain, Romania I feel I am the main character. All these places have great and outstanding people, mysterious past and interesting events.

Egypt is my another small dream. Desert and pyramids are so much unique and mysterious.

Frankly speaking, ticket to any country where I have never been to would make me the happiest person in the world.

I am lucky to have parents who are interested in travelling. Each year we go somewhere new and exciting. I’m only 14, but I’ve already been in several neighboring countries and even in Thailand, which is 9 hours away by plane. One of the places I really want to visit is Spain. I’ve seen many colorful prospects with Spanish sights and resorts, which look hyper attractive to me. It’s not very far from our country, but still it is a five-hour flight from Moscow. My parents don’t mind. They say that one day we’ll go there. As there are many resorts and culturally rich cities in Spain, we need to choose where we want to go. After all we decided that Barcelona is the best city for us. First of all, it’s a well-known beach resort. At the same time, it’s the second largest city in the country, which means there are lots of primary sights there. One of the objects that I’d like to see is the Magic Fountain of Montjuic. As far as I know this attraction offers an outstanding light and music show. My younger brother wants to visit the Barcelona Aquarium which houses more than 10 thousand sea animals. There is even a separate tank for sharks and other large fish. My mum’s dream is to see the collection of Picasso’s early works at the most famous museum of Barcelona. My father’s wish is to visit the Camp Nou. It’s the largest football stadium in Spain. And finally, we all want to walk across the famous La Rambla – the most popular street in the city, which is always full of tourists and locals.

Прежде всего, это знаменитый пляжный курорт. В то же время, это второй по величине город в стране, и это означает, что в нем много ключевых достопримечательностей. Одним из объектов, на которые я хотел бы посмотреть, является Волшебный фонтан Монжуик. Насколько я знаю, эта достопримечательность славится необычайным световым и музыкальным шоу. In my opinion, London is one of the most diverse and interesting cities on our planet. I have a to-do list for this place, which consists of six important points. First of all I’d like to see Piccadilly Circus. They say it is especially picturesque in the evenings, thanks to the bright neon signs. It has become a tradition to make a date next to the Fountain of Eros which is situated in the center of the square. The second object I want to see is the London Eye. It’s one of the largest and most innovative ferries wheels in the world. If I’m lucky and the weather is fine I can see many of London sights from the top of it. The third place that I want to visit is the wax museum of Madame Tussaud. It’s a legendary place where you can see a great number of celebrity wax figures. The fourth attraction that I’d like to see in London is the Natural History Museum, especially its Dinosaurs gallery. The fifth thing I want to do in London is to spend a day in a youth hostel. They say the atmosphere in such youth places is great. I hope to meet lots of international students there and to make new friends. The sixth point on my list is the boat trip on the River Thames. I’m sure the city views during this trip will be fantastic. In other words, London is my passion. I’d be very happy if my dream came true.

I’ d like to go to Spain because this country is really beautiful. There is a lot of splendid historical structures that are linked with the rich Spanish history. Also there are a lot of nature places that are really worth to see. I am fascinated with the Spanish cuisine. It has many delicious meals such as gazpacho, paella, pisto, jamon, tortilla and so on. Besides, I’ m learning Spanish now and it would be great if I could practice it with the native speakers.

Я бы хотела посетить Испанию, потому что эта страна действительно великолепна. Там огромное количество исторических памятников, которые непосредственно связаны с богатой культурой Испании. Также там много замечательных природных достопримечательностей, которые мне очень бы хотелось увидеть. Мне очень нравится испанская кухня, которая знаменита, в первую очередь, такими кулинарными шедеврами как гаспачо, паэлья, хамон, писто, тортилья и др. К тому же, я учу испанский язык и, было бы замечательно, если бы я смогла получить опыт общения с носителями языка.

My cherished dream is to visit Great Britain someday. At our English lessons we often «travel» throughout this country. There are a lot of wonderful sights there. And I would like to see everything with my own eyes.

And if I had such opportunity , first of all I would go to London to walk along the streets and hear the English speech and, I hope , that I would understand, what the English are speaking about . And, of course, I would try to communicate with them in their native language.

Then I would go to the Buckingham palace to see the real Queen there. I am sure she is as kind as my grandmother! And, of course, I would admire the Changing of the Guard. One day I saw this wonderful show on TV!

After that I would visit the London Tower and feed the ravens. They say, if the ravens fly away, the Tower will ruin?! Is it true?!

And besides I would visit the London parks because as I have read, they are so beautiful.

In Hyde Park, I would visit the Speaker`s corner, where I would say that I am happy to be here and want to make friends with the English.

In Regent`s Park I would visit the London Zoo. I have never visited the big zoos. It would be interesting to look at the animals who live there.

Returning home, I would buy souvenirs to all my relatives and friends. And as for me the trip to Great Britain would be the greatest gift!
