Если вас пугает этот список, то вы можете приобрести книгу по лексике, с которым вы подготовитесь к каждой из этих тем и будете знать, о чем говорить в этом задании и какие выражения для этого использовать.

Готовиться к заданию вы будете 2.5 минуты, а на само говорение отводится 3 минуты. Если вы закончили раньше, то все ок. Главное, чтобы осветила все пункты плана и не наделали ошибок.

Критерии оценивания

Как обычно, вначале посмотрим на критерии из официального документа:

Решение коммуникативной задачи (содержание)

Чтобы получить максимум за этот критерий, нужно:

• Сказать 12-15 фраз, то есть 3-4 фразы на каждый пункт плана. Если вы скажете больше, по делу, правильно и уложитесь во время ответа (3 минуты) – никто вас не накажет. Но если скажете меньше – то увы. 10-11 фраз принесут вам 2 балла по этому критерию, 8 – 9 – 1 балл, до 7 фраз – 0 баллов. А если получите 0 за этот критерий, то и 0 поставят за весь ответ.
• Ученик уложился во время
• Ученик раскрыл все 4 пункта плана:

Организация высказывания

Чтобы получить максимум за этот критерий, нужно:

• Не нарушить логику (то есть, переставлять пункты плана местами)
• Сделать вступление с обращением к другу и сказать заключительную фразу
• Использовать связки-переходы между пунктами плана
• Использовать средства логической связи и не допустить в них ошибки

Языковое оформление высказывания

Чтобы получить максимум за этот критерий, нужно:

• Допустить не больше 3-ех НЕгрубых лексико-грамматических ошибок или 3-ех НЕгрубых фонетческих ошибок

Чтобы понять, что за НЕгрубая ошибка такая, дадим определение обратному термину. Грубая ошибка – ошибка, искажающая понимание высказывания – отсутствие согласования подлежащего и сказуемого (they am/ he have), неправильная постановка артикля (in background/ we see a people), употребление Present Simple при описании картинки, ошибка в элементарной лексике (dress вместо wear, watch вместо look at, beer вместо bear), произношение слова thing /θɪŋ/ как /sɪŋ/. По-простому, это грамматика, лексика и произношение слов, которые все знают уже на уровне Pre-Intermediate.

Пример ответа

А теперь, используя мою схему, приведу образец ответа на это задание:

1. Hi Yoda, how are you doing? I have sent you some photos for our project “Shopping” and I’d like to say a few words about them.
2. Let me describe them for you. In the first picture one can see a happy family standing in the aisle of a supermarket. They’ve got a basket full of groceries in front of them. There is a woman sitting at home in front of her laptop in the second picture. She’s holding a credit card and smiling. Talking about the differences, the key difference is that in the 1st picture the family is shopping in a supermarket, while in the 2nd picture the woman is shopping online.
3. I believe that the two types of shopping presented in the pictures have their advantages and disadvantages. As for offline shopping, its biggest advantage is that you can spend quality time with your family while going around the supermarket shopping for groceries. Talking about online shopping, one of its advantages is that you don’t have to carry heavy bags home as you can get your groceries delivered home.
4. Now I will discuss the disadvantages of the two types of shopping. Offline shopping can be quite time-consuming as you have to spend time on the way to the shop and back home. While shopping online, if you are not careful enough your credit card details might be stolen and you can lose your money.
5. Personally, I prefer online shopping because I hate going to regular shops. I dislike these crowds of people that fight for discounts and their place in the queues. When I shop online, there’s only me in the room so I do not suffer from any stress.

У меня получилось прям высказывание высокого уровня. На экзамене вы можете говорить с использованием сложных грамматических структур и лексики, а можете – незаковыристо. Если соблюли все критерии и не сделали ошибок, ответ будет оценен на максимальный балл.

Основные ошибки

Теперь про основные “ляпы” учеников в этом задании.

В содержании:

• забывают вступление и заключение
• говорят не 2 черты отличий фото, и теряют по кол-ву фраз в ответе
• говорят мало фраз
• повторяют идеи в разных пунктах и грамматические структуры с лексикой
• забывают, что нужно назвать тему проекта, которая написана в задании (в нашем задании – “shopping”
• не используют подсказку из 2-го и 3-го пункта задания с advantages/disadvantages (в нашем примере – “the two types of shopping”)
• забывают, что в пункте 4 у нас уже написана проблема, по которой нужно высказать мнение, и придумывают свою и/или используют другую формулировку (например, в задании написано “prefer”, а говорят “would prefer”, например в нашем задании нужно сказать –  “prefer offline/online shopping”)
• не укладываются во время и ученикам минусуют пункты, которые остались за пределами 3 минут высказывания

Последний пункт – прям типичное слабое место всех ЕГЭшников. Они очень долго не могут придумать, что сказать и как не повториться в идеях, и в итоге теряют время на записи ответа. Чтобы этого избежать, на первом этапе тренировки придерживаемся такого алгоритма подготовки: -> brainstorm карточки – прописываем ответ на это задание -> отчитываем -> заучиваем -> тренируемся с диктофоном. Если не получилось уложиться в 3 минуты, повторяем тренировку с диктофоном, пока не натренируем намертво.

Когда ученики запомнили схему ответа, уже ничего не записываем, тренируемся вживую на уроках. Если проблема повторяется, “долбим” проблемное задание, пока не получится уместить свой красивый ответ в эти ненавистные уже 3 минуты.

Некоторые репетиторы говорят, что начинают тренировать устную часть за 2 месяца до экзамена, чтобы не тратить на неё время в течение года. Я так не делаю, даже с учениками, с которыми занимаюсь больше, чем 9 месяцев до ЕГЭ. В моей практике надо хотя бы начинать её тренировать за полгода, пусть не очень усиленно, но нужно. Подкреплю примером. Недавно готовила к ЕГЭ девочку, с которой занималась 4-е года. В 2018 она сдала ОГЭ по английскому, потом экстернатом заканчивала 11 класс и сдавала ЕГЭ. Устную часть она не могла сделать мне на максимум около 3-ех месяцев.

В грамматике:

• Используют Present Simple при описании того, что видят на фотографии – The children hold presents
• Ставят неправильный предлог в словосочетании “in the picture/ photo” – there’s a family on/at the picture/ photo
• Забывают артикли – “there is boy in the photo” или ставят неправильные. Например, первый раз сказали про этого мальчика “a boy”, и продолжают про него говорить с неопределенным артиклем, хотя второй раз нужно говорить “the boy”
• Забывают окончание -s – “the photo show us children in the park”, или ставят его туда, где не нужно – “both pictures shows us …”

Нужно замечать, какие ошибки у ученика любимые и заставлять его контролировать себя. Можно задавать ему на дом сравнивать картинки, записывать себя на микрофон, слушать и отслеживать ошибки. Ну и вместе разбирать их на уроке.

На мой взгляд, задание совсем несложное, нужно просто выучить план ответа и хорошо его оттренировать.

Еще не забываем, что на экзамене вместе с учеником начнут сразу говорить еще несколько человек, которые сидят в компьютерном классе. Поэтому на занятиях полезно включать радио, или телевизор, когда ученик делает устную часть. Помогает справляться с звуковыми помехами на экзамене.

Well, there are two pictures in front of me, and now I am going to compare and contrast them.

To begin with, I’d like to say that both pictures are related to one theme. It is “bears”. The first picture shows us a bear sitting on some rocks in a zoo. It is being photographed by a lot of people. The second picture shows us a wild bear looking into the distance.

If you take a closer look, you’ll find a lot of common details in both pictures. Firstly, there is only one brown bear in the first picture as well as in the second one. Secondly, the action of both photos takes place in the open air. We can see that the bears are not in an enclosed area.

Despite the fact that these pictures have much in common, they are quite different. In the left-hand photo the bear is surrounded by a number of photographers while in the right-hand photo there is noboby but the bear itself. In addition to it, it seems to me that the bear in the first picture looks happier than its counterpart in the second picture.

As for me, I’d prefer to observe bears in a zoo, because they are dangarous animals, and I don’t want to put my life on the line.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that these pictures are quite interesting and worth discussing.

Well, I have two pictures to compare and contrast. From the very beginning, I’d like to say that both pictures are connected with a very important topic. It is human environment. The first picture shows us an urban environment with high modern houses, much traffic, and the like. The second picture presents the countryside, which is very quiet, and nothing special is happening there.

If you take a closer look, you’ll find a lot of common details in both pictures. In the first place, I’d like to state the fact that there are some buildings in both pictures. In addition to it, there is a road running through the scene, and greenery in both photos.

As far as differences are concerned, it is obvious that the houses are different in the pictures. Absolutely! In the first photo we can see a number of skyscrapers and other city constructions made of reinforced concrete plates. In the second photo we can see plain small country-houses, which are nothing out of the common. Besides, the roads differ from each other in the pictures. In the left-hand picture, the road is wide and full of cars, buses, and other city vehicles. In the right-hand picture, the road is unsurfaced, and utterly empty.

As for me, I’d prefer an urban environment, though it is more polluted and less comfortable to live. The reason is that a big city has more opportunities for personal development and making a successful career.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that these pictures are quite interesting and worth discussing.

Now, I am going to give a short talk about the photos which are presented here. You can see my sister Victoria in both photos. In the left-hand photo she is cooking dinner while in the right-hand photo she is snowboarding.

As a matter of fact, these pictures have much in common. In the first place, you should pay attention to the number of persons that are presented in both pictures. It is only one person who is shown in each case. I mean my sister whom I have just spoken about. What is more, her emotions in both pictures are the same. She is happy and excited.

However, the photos differ from each other to a considerable extent. Firstly, in the photo on the left you can see Victoria inside the house while in the photo on the right she is outside her place of living. Secondly, she is wearing different clothes. In the first case she is dressed in light clothes worn about the house. In the second case she is wearing a down-padded coat and warm winter trousers.

As for me, I’d prefer cooking to snowboarding. Frankly speaking, I’m not a sporty person. In addition to it, snowboarding is quite dangerous.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that these pictures are quite interesting and worth discussing.

Now I am going to give a talk comparing and contrasting two photographs.

To begin with, I’d like to say that these photos are connected with a very important topic. This is “family life”. In the left-hand photo you can see a happy family consisting of four persons. It seems to me that they are celebrating Christmas because there is a Christmas tree in the background. In the right-hand photo you can see another family consisting of three members. I guess they are having a birthday party because there is a birthday cake with the definite number of candles in it, and there are also birthday presents on the table.

It is at once apparent that both pictures have much in common. It goes without saying they depict a happy moment of family life. The people are dressed up, and they are also in good spirits. By all appearances, they are having a good time. There is one more detail that makes the pictures alike. I mean children. Both pictures show us happy children who are surrounded by their loving parents.

As to the differences, I should point out the fact that the children are of different sex in the pictures. It is a girl who is in the left-hand picture, and it is a boy who is in the right-hand picture. What is more, the number of persons is different. There are four persons in the first case while there are three persons in the second case.

Frankly speaking, it is difficult for me to decide what celebration to choose because they both seem to be awesome. Nevertheless, I’d prefer Christmas because it is a holiday for not only getting presents but also for making them.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that it is very important to have a happy family and to celebrate occasions together.

Well, I see two pictures, and now I am going to compare and contrast them.

As a first step, I’d like to say that these pictures are about spending free time together. In the first picture you can see a group of young people who are quad biking in winter. In the second picture you can see a party of friends who are going to watch TV.

If you take a closer look, you can see that these pictures have much in common. First of all, I’d like to point out the fact that both groups of people are sexually mixed. I mean there are males as well as females in each group. In addition to it, they are approximately of the same age.

Despite all the similarities, these pictures are rather different. It is obvious that the number of persons is not the same. There are three persons in the left-hand picture while there are four persons in the right-hand picture. Moreover, the first group is in the open air, in a thick forest. By all appearances, it is frosty and windy there. The second group is inside a house. They are sitting on a couch and feeling pretty comfortable.

As for me, I’d prefer having a party at home because I don’t like extreme activities. Frankly speaking, I am not a sporty person, and, what is more, I hate winter.

In conclusion I’d like to say that it is just awesome to have good friends to spend free time with.

Well, I have two pictures to compare and contrast.

Right at the beginning, I would like to point out the fact that the pictures are all about reading. The first picture shows us a girl reading something from her iPad at the moment. The second picture presents another girl reading a book.

Obviously, these photos have much in common. First of all, it is a beautiful young lady that should be mentioned as a common element of both situations. You can see that she is really carried away by reading, and she doesn’t pay attention to what is happening around her. Frankly speaking, it seems to me that the girl in the first picture is the same as in the second picture. Anyway, they look so much alike that I could hardly say they are different. They have one and the same shape of body, form of head, hair length, and the like. What is more, both girls are smiling, and their smile is scarcely perceptible.

If you take a closer look, you can’t help noticing some differences. Firstly, in the left-hand photo the girl has brown wavy hair while in the right-hand photo the girl has reddish-brown hair. Secondly, the book itself is different. In the first case the girl is reading an e-book downloaded into her iPad while in the second case it is a paper-book that is being read. It should also be noted that the action is happening in different places. The first girl is sitting on her comfortable couch at home while the second girl is standing in a streetcar.

As for me, I’d prefer e-books to paper-books, because a lot of e-books can be easily downloaded from the Internet for free, and in addition to it, they are more comfortable to read.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that reading is a good way to spend free time no matter what way of reading you choose.

Well, I am going to give a short talk about two photographs comparing and contrasting them.

It is at once apparent that these photos are related to one theme, which can be defined as “spending free time”. If you look at the first picture, you’ll see three members of a volleyball team. They are at the height of the fighting for the ball. In the second picture you see three pretty girls who are relaxing to the full extent dancing and maybe singing.

At first sight, you can notice a lot of common features. First of all, the number of persons shown in the pictures is the same. There are three persons in the first case, and there are three persons in the second case. In addition to it, I dare say that both actions are happening inside a building, not in the open air.

Despite all the similarities, the pictures are rather different. You know, the actions themselves are fundamentally different. In the first case, we see a moment that is extremely tense. The volleyball players are straining themselves as much as possible to return a ball. On the contrary, in the second case the girls are trying to relax and zone out. In addition to it, the photos differ from each other in the way the girls are dressed. The volleyball players are wearing a special uniform consisting of shorts and T-shirts. The dancing girls are wearing cool dresses, which are quite casual.

As for me, I’d prefer playing volleyball because sport makes us strong and healthy.

In conclusion I’d like to say that there many ways of spending free time. You should choose your own way considering your purposes, physical and mental state.

Well, I am going to give a short talk about two photographs comparing and contrasting them.

It is at once apparent that these photos are related to one theme, which can be defined as “taking care of your health”. Let me start with the first picture. You can see a number of people here who are exercising on running machines. The main person is a girl shown in the foreground. As to the second picture, there is a girl here who is jogging in a park.

It stands to mention that these pictures have much in common. Firstly, the main characters in both situations are females of approximately the same age. They are sporty, and they like keeping fit. Secondly, the girls are wearing similar T-shirts, which are suitable for doing sports best of all. What’s more, both young women are smiling, which means they are in good spirits and experiencing great pleasure in physical exercises.

Along with similarities, there are a lot of differences in these photos. First of all, the girls are doing sports in different places. The first girl seems to be in a gym or a fitness center while the second girl is jogging in an open area. Besides, if you look at the girls’ clothes, you see the difference of their colours. In the first case it is white while in the second case it is red.

As for me, I’d prefer jogging in a park. In my opinion, it is much healthier to do exercises in the open air breathing fresh air in and enjoying the surrounding nature.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that there are many ways of taking care of your health. You choose your own considering your preferences, purposes, and physical state.
