Mobile phone plays an important role in our life. We can not imagine even one day without this thing. If we go somewhere, plan something we always take our phone with us.

Nowadays everyone has a phone: child and adult. It’s a great way of communication to each other. You are able to call almost any moment, send a voice message or text message to the friend or relative. I can not imagine how people lived before without mobile phones.

Another good thing is photo camera inside. Because my phone is always with me I can make a picture or video at any time. There is also photo album with hundreds and thousands of photos. I like to make pictures and make them almost everyday.

Also there is excess to internet almost in all phones today. Internet is like one encyclopedia with any information you need. You can find whatever you want: schedule of a shop, order food in restaurant and so on. I use internet almost everyday and don’t even think how useful it is.

Mobile phone has many advantages: organizer, navigator, calculator, MP3 player, dictionary and many other good things. You can download different apps for work and self-education.

But honestly mobile phone has disadvantages as well. For example, if you can not organize your day, you will waste your time with games and social networks. Children, teenagers and even adults sometime can not control the time.

There is also information that phones has some unhealthy rays, that can be dangerous for us. But I don’t really believe that.

In general, I think phones are very useful and helpful today.

Ещё одна замечательная вещь — это фотокамера внутри. А потому, что мой телефон всегда со мной, я могу снимать фото и видео в любой момент. Там также есть фото альбом с сотней и тысячей фото. Мне нравится снимать и я фотографию почти каждый день.

А ещё есть доступ к интернету почти в каждом аппарате сегодня. Интернет- это как энциклопедия со всей необходимой информацией. Вы можете найти все, что угодно: расписание магазинов, заказать еду в ресторане и так далее. Я пользуюсь интернетом почти каждый день и даже не задумываюсь, как это полезно.

Мобильный телефон имеет уйму преимуществ: органайзер, навигатор, калькулятор, плеер, словарь и много чего полезного. Вы можете загрузить разные приложения для работы и самообразования.

Но честно говоря, у мобильного также есть недостатки. Например, если вы не можете организовать свой день верно, вы потратите время впустую с играми или в социальных сетях. Дети, подростки, взрослые часто не умеют контролировать своё время.

А ещё есть информация о том, что мобильные выделяют вредные лучи, которые опасны для здоровья. Но я не очень верю в это.

Essay on Importance of mobile phones

It’s a common truth that the world has completely changed with the expansion of technological progress. Nowadays, people have a lot of things they couldn’t even dream of one or two hundred years ago. One of such gadgets people can’t imagine their life without is a mobile phone. So why is it so important for people of the modern world?

First of, mobile phone is a mean of communication. It helps people to keep in touch with their friends and relatives at any distance. Moreover, connection to the Internet allows using different social networks and special apps like Viber, Skype or WhatsApp to make usual calls, video calls and exchange instant messages wherever we are. Additionally, this mean of communication enables us to make business quickly and effectively. You can check your e–mail and organize any meetings, pay bills and do many other useful things just with one button click.

Secondly, it’s necessary to mention that modern smart phones are the gadgets with unlimited entertainment possibilities. People can watch videos, listen to their favorite music, play different games, read books and news on the Internet… modern smart phones are ready to suggest an activity for any taste. Therefore, it’s impossible to get bored in a queue or during the journey — the only things you need are your mobile phone, earphones and a fully charged battery.

In addition, mobile phone supplies people with the feeling of safety. If you’re in a trouble or in a case of emergency you’re able to contact your family or any services to get help. Moreover, there is one really useful option called GPS that won’t let you to get lost at an undisclosed location.

In conclusion, I’d like to mention that there is a disadvantage of using mobile phones too. We should remember about the mobile phone addiction especially among teenagers and their disability to communicate in the real world. Though mobile phones give us limitless opportunities, we should not forget about talking to each other live and disconnecting from a mobile phone world at all from time to time.

Some people can not live without cells, whereas others think that they are harmful.

I think that cell phones are a good and useful invention. First of all , they allow people to communicate with lots of people without leaving their homes. Second , nowadays cells have become multifunctional , which means they are used as photo cameras, memory storages, payment systems so on. Having a phone let people get rid of many gadgets.

At the same time there are people who say cell phones might cause various diseases or mental troubles. There are phone-depended people who do not feel comfortable without phones. People also see each other less because of the mobiles.

I cannot agree with the opinion mentioned above for a particular reason. Cell phnes might be psychologically harmful for some people, nevertheless , the danger for health that mobiles might cause has not been scientifically proved yet . Talking on the phone with a person is almost as real as in person, which compensates many potentially bad things that it can bring.

In conclusion , I would like to say that any good invention can be turned into a dangerous one, if we misuse it. Telephones are primarily meant for communication, not for playing games on them all day long. I strongly believe if a person starts feeling dependent on his or her phone, they need to stop using it. Nevertheless , I consider cell phones one of the greatest inventions ever.

In conclusion , I would like to say that there are opposing views on this issue. At first sight cell phones might seem harmful but in actual fact they are a great invention that unite people and make their lives easier. Thus , I support the idea of using mobile phones all around.

Can we imagine our life without a mobile phone? I don’t think so. But as it turns out when our parents were small they didn’t have them, and very often they had one landline number for several families. So when did phone appear and how has it developed?

The first telephone call was made on March 10, 1876 by Alexander Bell. He invented the telephone and called his assistant Mr. Watson. Basically telephone consists of a transmitter, a receiver, a ringer and a dial. Until 1970s telephones had a rotary dial (you have probably seen them in old movies). In 1963 the first push-button dial was introduced in the USA.

It is interesting to know that first telephones were connected directly to each other. By that I mean that a telephone in one house was directly connected to a telephone in somebody else’s house, so you could only call the person your phone was connected to. As it was very inconvenient it was soon replaced by switchboards that were manually operated.

When reading about the history of telephone I wondered when a mobile phone appeared. I was surprised to know that Motorola presented its first mobile for personal use in 1973. But in Russia mobile operators and mobile phones appeared only in 1991. Back then you had to be very reach to use a mobile.

I think it is great that now many people can afford a mobile device because our life is impossible without a phone or rather a mobile phone.

Пока я читала про историю возникновения телефона, мне было интересно, когда появился мобильный телефон. Я с удивлением узнала, что Моторола представила первый мобильный телефон для личного использования в 1973 году. А в России мобильные операторы и мобильные телефоны появились лишь в 1991 году. Тогда нужно было быть очень богатым, чтобы иметь мобильный.

Я считаю, что это замечательно, что теперь многие могут позволить себе мобильный, ведь наша жизнь не возможна без телефона, а точнее без мобильного телефона.

Today phones are not just a means of communication. The modern phone is actually a small computer, and it can perform many functions.

Modern phones are equipped with cameras that allow one to take photos and videos. It’s very convenient. One can take pictures of interesting events at any time, and immediately share the photo with friends and family. Sometimes it is necessary to photograph documents to make copies. So a camera in the phone allows many people to dispense with a scanner.

Of course, some people go too far and take selfies in places where it is inappropriate, or even dangerous.

Messengers allow one to stay in touch with family and friends when it is inconvenient to talk. In a collective chat, one can solve many issues without meeting in person. Parents of schoolchildren often do this.

I often use the map and Navigator in my phone when I am going to some unfamiliar place. It helps to choose the best route and not to get lost.

Of course, a huge advantage of modern phones is access to the Internet. I often look into Wikipedia when I need to know the meaning of an unfamiliar term.

Applications allow one to solve a variety of tasks. Some people use them to track discounts in stores, others process photos or call a taxi. I use educational apps, including the ones for learning foreign languages. In my opinion, it is much easier to learn new words this way than just reading them in a notebook.

Mobile games are very popular. Some people are too fond of this kind of entertainment. I try not to spend too much time on mobile games, because it is bad for eyes.

So mobile phones are very useful devices. I’m glad we have them.

Сегодня телефоны — это не только средство связи. Современный телефон фактически является маленьким компьютером, и может выполнять множество функций.

Современные телефоны оснащены камерами, позволяющими снимать фото и видео. Это очень удобно. Можно сфотографировать интересные события в любой момент, и сразу поделиться фотографией с друзьями и родственниками. Иногда бывает нужно сфотографировать документы, чтобы сделать их копии. Так что камера в телефоне позволяет многим людям обойтись без сканнера.

Конечно, некоторые люди заходят слишком далеко и делают селфи в таких местах, где это неуместно, или даже опасно.

Мессенджеры позволяют оставаться на связи с семьей и друзьями, когда разговаривать неудобно. В коллективном чате можно решить многие вопросы, не собираясь лично. Родители школьников часто так делают.

Я часто пользуюсь картой и навигатором в телефоне, когда собираюсь в незнакомое место. Так проще выбрать оптимальный маршрут и не заблудиться.

Конечно же, огромным плюсом современных телефонов является доступ к интернету. Я часто заглядываю в Википедию, когда мне требуется узнать значение незнакомого термина.

Приложения позволяют решать самые разные задачи. Кто-то с их помощью отслеживает скидки в магазинах, кто-то обрабатывает фотографии, кто-то вызывает такси. Я использую обучающие приложения, в том числе для изучения иностранных языков. На мой взгляд, так гораздо проще выучить новые слова, чем просто читать их в тетради.

Большой популярностью пользуются мобильные игры. Некоторые люди злоупотребляют этим видом развлечений. Я стараюсь не тратить на мобильные игры слишком много времени, ведь это вредно для зрения.

Так что мобильные телефоны — это очень полезные устройства. Я рад, что они у нас есть.

Mobile phones – a great invention?

In 1973, Martin Cooper developed that we could call the first mobile phone while he worked for Motorola, although this prototype couldn´t be used by people till 1979 in Tokyo; the NTT (Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp) company deployed its mobile network. This was just the beginning but from 1973 till nowadays everything has changed: its name (mobile phone, mobile, cellphone), the way we use it, its features, etc.
Our present mobile phone is very different from it was in 1973. Its features have increased so much. Actually, we have changed its name one more time. The “smart phone” is more than a mobile phone; in fact, the mobile phone has became in a portable office. We can send and receive e-mails, write any kind of document, even we can use it as an id-card or credit card. Besides, radio, TV and videogames are the most desired features in a smart-phone; but the last feature are the social networks: keep in touch with everyone at any moment.
In 1999 I was fired from my job. In order to get a new job, I bought a mobile phone. It was like a brick, heavy and not very easy to use; but the worst was its price, too expensive for an unemployed guy. This electronic device was my bridge for a new job, it had a purpose. I can remember when just a few people had mobile phone. They used to show it like a “first prize” in a contest, actually, they were very proud about been the owner of such device but, at the end, they used it just as it was: a phone in order to keep in touch with their relatives, their companies or their mates.
Nowadays, I feel a bit embarrassed when I have lunch with some work mates and they can´t stay more than five minutes without looking at their mobiles screen. Many people try to have the last fashionable smart-phone but I think they don´t realize that a mobile phone is just a tool, maybe a very sophisticated tool, but a tool at the end. We can use it as we want but we can´t depend on it in order to live the life.

LIVING WITHOUT A MOBILE PHONE

Almost everybody has a mobile phone. But is it a great invention?
I think there are both advantages and disadvantages.
I have to say that when mobile phones were invented twenty years ago, everybody thought that they were a great machine. In those years, to get a mobile was difficult and something very expensive. They were apparatuses very big and heavy.
In that moment, anybody had thought that mobile phones were apparatuses which would change the communications’ world.
Nowadays, technology has improved much and last models are apparatuses of last generation which allow talking; listening to music; making photos or videos; playing games; sending messages; or search on the Internet for instance.
Although there are some models which are very expensive, most are accessible or available for all people.
I’m going to explain some advantages and disadvantages having mobile.
• First, if you have a mobile phone when you need it really, you won’t have to look for a cabin immediately. You can use it without any problems, except if there isn’t money or signal.
• Another advantage having mobile is to have a lot of applications which you can use. Mobiles are like a tiny computer which you can carry everywhere.
• Last advantage for me is that you have your contacts organized and always you find them quickly. In them you can put their names, surnames, addresses, e-mails, etc….
On the other hand, there are also some disadvantages because to begin with to use a mobile you must be responsible and you must know what is right or bad.
▪ You can make something which is banned by law, as for example, to film other people without their consent. It is considered like interference to the intimacy. If you filmed with your mobile to somebody, you would pay a fine and you would be able to go to the prison.
▪ Secondly, if you have a mobile phone you will lose independence because with it you always will be localized and you will have to respond when it rings.
▪ Thirdly you must be careful because there are studies which maintain firmly that mobile phones are addicting and they can cause an addiction for using them in an irresponsible way. For instance, each time there are more therapies which are used to do that people don’t depend on his mobile phone and they have to get used to live without it.
In conclusion, I think that mobile phones are a great invention because they are high-technology within one’s reach when we need them, but on the other hand, they require of a responsible use because if they are used badly, they will be harmful for us.
Besides, in some countries is totally prohibited talking by mobile while you are driving because this is the first cause of accidents in the traffic. Talking by mobile while you are driving distracts you and you lose concentration on the road. Although you have free hands in your car, you lose concentration because you think in the conversation with the other person. If you had free hands in your car, you would have to use it with moderation. You shouldn’t talk with it for more 2-3 minutes. It’s dangerous.
There are people who if they had hung up their calls while they are driving in a road with many curves, they wouldn’t have had any traffic accident. Although it’s very hard this is so. Driving a car is a responsible activity.
Besides, you always have the option to call back the lost call when you arrive to your destiny. It’s the most surest.

Almost everybody has a mobile phone. But is it a great invention? I think there are both advantages and disadvantages.

The first advantage is that you can get hold of someone wherever that person is. Maybe this is the biggest contribution of mobile phones, although it can be a horrible thing for people who don’t want to be located.

Secondly, I think that this invention can be a great help in emergency cases like traffic accidents. You can save somebody’s life using a mobile phone.

Thirdly, we can’t forget to talk about latest mobile phones, smart phones, and their enormous applications for modern life. For example, you can book a hotel while you are eating at a restaurant or can share with your friends pictures from the city you’re visiting at this moment.

On the other hand, there are also disadvantages. For example, since “whatsapp” was invented people are losing communication and interpersonal skills. We often use this new application to talk with somebody who lives upstairs.

Also, mobile phones have created new ways of bad manners. For example, if you take the underground or are in any public place you will find someone talking loudly on his / her phone. And people usually forget to switch off their mobiles when they are in places where is obligatory.

In conclusion, although living without mobile phones should have many advantages for society in general, I think today’s impossible to imagine that situation.

Before mobile phones were invented, people lived without to need them, but now it is impossible. The most of people need a mobile phone and everywhere spend hours using it. But a few families choose to live without mobile phones, maybe because they do not think they need them or maybe because they think to have and to use a mobile is an unnecessary expense.

Particularly I believe mobile phones are very necessary in my life because I think they have plenty of advantages.

The first and the most important advantages is that I can communicate with other people when I actually need it. Secondly I can use my mobile phone like a notebook, like a clock. Thirdly I can use it like a camera or a GPS system.

On the other hand, mobile phones also have disadvantages. For example, if you talk too much with it you will pay an expensive bill. Also I usually see several groups of boys and girls in the park who they are playing with their mobile phones and they are not talking each other. I do not think they are doing a right use of their mobile phones.

In conclusion, I think mobile phones are one of the most important inventions of man but I believe people should do a right use about it.

The first advantage is for safety: If you work so far from home, in isolated places like a farm or a forest, you have to go to work by car or motorbike or you work as a truck driver you must have a mobile phone to ask for help if necessary.
Secondly, mobile phones make easy communication with people. It allows keeping in touch all the time everywhere .

There are also some disadvantages.
For instance, If the mobile phone have many applications, such as plays or internet connection, teenagers specially will abuse of it and waste time .
Another disadvantage is the necessity of carrying every day another gadget (some of them are big and heavies) and looking after it.

To sump up, mobile phones are a great invention which changed our way of communicate whit people but we should use it properly.

Firstly, as most people carry their mobile phone everywhere, you can ask for help or turn to your family or friends whenever you need. You keep connected with the rest of the world everytime, everywhere. Secondly, it’s easier to keep in touch with the people you care about as it’s an immediate way to communicate with them, as opposed to other means such as traditional mail and the like. Thirdly, modern phones have other functionalities such as Internet connection and games which can entertain you at dull moments.

On the other hand, there are also some disadvantages. For instance, if you forget to switch off your mobile, it’s very likely to ring at the worst place, like in the cinema or during a meeting, thus causing an embarrassing situation. Also, a mobile phone, being a small and expensive gadget, can easily be lost or stolen, so you must take care of it all the time. Finally, they are power-hungry devices with a limited battery life, which compels you to carry a charger everywhere you go, provided you are going to spend more than a day out, specially with nowadays’ smartphones.

To sum up, although mobile phones suffer from some flaws, I think those are totally eclipsed by their benefits. Therefore, in my opinion they have implied a real breakthrough in communication technology.

The fist advantage is that you never be alone. For example:
– If you had a problem with you car you would call to
– If your son didn’t come back on time you could phone him to know about him.

The second advantages are that you can do many things with your mobile. Nowadays you can do important things with you mobile like seeing and talking with old friends who live far away, look after interesting information by internet, working while you travel on train,…

On the other hand, there are also disadvantages. For example, people who don’t stop using their mobile phone. In some situations there are many people in the same room and everyone is writing or speaking to the mobile and doesn’t speak each others..
The second disadvantage is that the mobile could be dangerous to the children or young people. They can spend a long time speaking with a close friend or meeting unsafe people by the internet.

In conclusion, I think that mobile phone is a good invention but you have to be responsible and sensible and use it with moderation and control. Normally, invents are goods and the persons don’t use it correctly. At the end I have to say that I couldn’t live without mobile but I use it only for important things.

MOBILE PHONES – A GREAT INVENTION?

Personally, I believe that the first advantage is that you can phone to your insurance when your car is broken and phone your boss to tell him you will be late. Secondly, there are some mobile applications which help you in your life, for example, GPS application helps you when you are lost. Thirdly, parents can control where their children are when they go out at night, although to be honest, teenagers don’t believe this is an advantage.

On the other hand, there are also disadvantages. For example, a lot of people can’t live without one in their hands, they are addicted to mobile. Furthermore, lots of children under 12 years require their parents a mobile and they take it to school where it is forbidden, therefore they can be expelled.

In conclusion, although we lived without mobile phone some years ago, nowadays this is unthinkable. But, I believe people should use it with responsibility, only when it is absolutely necessary.

Do you know anybody who doesn´t have a mobile phone? Almost everybody has a mobile phone including children and older people but is it a great invention?
On the one hand, having a mobile is full of advantages. When I was a child, businessmen used to have them but a housewife, a child, a builder even a teacher didn´t have it. Today this have changed. Firstly the best is everybody can communicate with somebody although is far or in other country, and the most important, you can do it where you are, inside and outside. Secondly mobiles phones are cheaper and nowadays you can use them to connectate to Internet.
On the other hand, having a mobile phone has disavantages too. I can´t understand the reason why a child has a mobile. I can´t stand teenagers use their mobiles in every moment and they don´t know to have relationship without them. I hate my mother, my sister or muy boyfriend call men ten times a day to know what I do or where I am. II think I am extremely independent and I want to be free!!
In conclusion, if you use mobiles with carefully, it can be a magnificent invention, but remember…sometimes turn it off if you don´t believe crazy, this is my advert!!!

The first advantage is that a mobile phone has a lot of applications. For example, if you want to travel you won’t have to take your camera because you can use your mobile to take photos or if you are expecting an important e-mail you won’t have to take your laptop everywhere because you can see your e-mails in your mobile phone. Secondly, you can phone a friend or somebody of your family when you need help. For instance, if you are driving on the road and you get a puncture you will be able to call somebody and ask him to help you, or if you see a road accident you will be able to call an ambulance. Thirdly, you can receive phone calls from people you know although they are very far from you, this way you can go on keeping in touch with them.

On the other hand, there are also disadvantages. For instance, People are always talking to other people on their mobile phone and if you meet up with somebody and this one is talking on his mobile phone, at the end you will finish looking at shop windows or having lunch/dinner alone or doing any other thing but without can talk to him. You’ll finish getting bored. Also, if you use it in a prohibited place you can be fined. People usually use it on the road without a hands-free and when the police see them doing this, they always fine them. MOBILE PHONES- A GREAT INVENTION?

Almost everybody has a mobile phone. But is it a great invention? I think there are both advantages and disadvantages.

For me, the first advantage is its usefulness. Unlike the normal phones, you are able to call somebody in spite of not being at home. For instance, if you usually spend quite a lot of time commuting to work -it takes you just 30 minutes or more from home- and you have to call back to your friend, you will be able to do it during your journey using ‘hands free’.

Secondly, the mobile phones can help you when you have a dangerous situation. When someone is suffering from a heart attack, it is very important to be fast in calling emergency services. Besides, you would text your husband if you forgave to switch the oven off.

Furthermore, the mobile phones can avoid you having an argument with your friends if you have to meet up with them and you are late.

On the other hand, there are also some disadvantages. For example, you should turn your mobile off when you are in the cinema or in a concert and if you didn’t remember to do it, a call would have embarrassing consequences.

Currently, mobile phones can take up your spare time. In this respect, whatsapp technology has been invented and I complain about people using it on social occasions. Moreover, mobiles are more difficult to use than normal phones for elderly people.

To sum up, I think mobiles are a great invention because the advantages are more important than disadvantages and if you hate roughing it, you ought to have many appliances, such as mobiles.

LIVING WITHOUT A MOBILE PHONE

Almost everybody has a mobile phone. But is it a great invention? I think there are both advantages and disadvantages.

On the other hand, there are also disadvantages. For instance, People are always talking to other people on their mobile phone and if you meet up with somebody and this one is talking on his mobile phone, at the end you will finish looking at shop windows or having lunch/dinner alone or doing any other thing but without being able to talk to him. You’ll finish getting bored. Also, if you use it in a prohibited place you can be fined. People usually use it on the road without a hands-free and when the police see them doing this, they always fine them. And finally there are a lot of research which have shown that mobile phone can damage eyesight if you use it during prolonged time.

To sum up, although mobile phone has some disadvantages, I think that if people make good use of it, the mobile phone is great invention because it can even save lives.

Almost everybody has a mobile-phone.
But is it a great invention?
I think there are both advantages and disadvantages.
The first and the most important advantage is that you don’t have to stay at home waiting for an important phone call (about work or relatives etc.), you can answer it while you are doing exercise , for example.
Secondly, mobile-phone is an useful gadget when you have to travel alone driving your car, if you had a mechanic problem, you’d be able to call a tow-truck at the moment without giving your car up on the road.
Thirdly , if you have a teenager son or daughter , you’ll probably be able to know where they are when they go out at weekends , as easy as make a call phone and ask them.

On the other hand there are also disadvantages.
For example if you have an endless work schedule, you’ll probably have your boss calling you all the time.
Also I think there are many people who are addicted to mobile phone, they are all the time watching the mobile screen, sending text messages or playing games…….I think being a mobile-phone “slave” is the most important disadvantage.

In conclusion although there are very important disadvantages , I think mobile-phones were a great invention, and it can be an useful device, It depends of you………………….You’ll always be able to turn it off.

The first advantage is the safety. Doing a call from a mobile phone many people have been rescued when they have had an accident or they have stayed isolated for a natural catastrophe.
Secondly, mobile phone is great for people who travel a lot, because they can keep in touch with their families more easily. Some years ago they couldn’t call home until they found a public phone and their families were worry meanwhile.
Thirdly, mobile phones store all the numbers of your friends so you don’t have to remember them and there isn’t danger of losing.
On the other hand, there are also some disadvantages. For example more and more we listen that mobile phones can be cause of addition, especially between young people. They spend too much time sending messages or playing.
Another disadvantage is children having mobile phones. I think they don’t need them and that’s a waste of money.
And finally, some people forget good manners when they are talking on their mobile phones in some public places and you have to listen to their conversation, I think they should talk quietly.
In conclusion, I think mobile phones are a great invention,but everybody have to use them in a right way.

The first advantage is that when you have a road accident, you can ask emergency number for help. I think it’s a main advantage, because you are sure that somebody will help you. Secondly, some people need internet all day because of the world, so if you have a smartphone you’ll be able to use internet when you need it, with only a button.
Thirly, you take photos without camera, so you only use one machine. Besides, if your mobile is good telephone, you will get a wonderful photo.

On the other hand, there are also disadvantages. For example, teenegers are became obsessed with their mobiles and they don’t study. Nowadays some children have a mobiles too and they don’t enjoy playing with their friends. When I was a child I used to play with my friends in the streed and we had a good time together. Another disadvantage is that people misuse of the mobile , for example when they are driving and they can have an accident. Also, people don’t too much speak because they only see their mobiles, and they don’t mix with friends.

To sum up, in my opinion, mobiles are a grat invention depend on their use it. Personally, I have an old mobile and I only use it when I need call somebody but I don’t use it for other things.

The first advantage is that we can keep in touch with all our family, colleagues, classmates and people whose phone numbers are in our mobile phone directory. Thus if we need something or only want to talk on our mobile phone anywhere, we will only use speed dialling or we will leave a message on a voice mail. Fortunate ly, it is so relaxing to be able to be anywhere and to get in touch with a lot of people. For instance, an old woman told me that she lived off her son who was working all the day, she stayed alone during the day, and that she used her mobile phone because she felt safer . Secondly, we could ask for help more quickly if we had a crash car or were robbed. Thirdly, it’s useful to be able to surf the internet on our mobile because I can find out any information I might need anywhere
On the other hand, there are also disadvantages. For example, there are a lot of people who use mobile phones in public places and we overhear private conversations . It’s annoying, isn’t it? Besides teenagers are constantly checking their apps instead of hanging out with friends and they invest no time in reading at all. Also, our boss will get in touch with us although we are on holidays or we might have reception issues as well when we need it most.
In conclusion, although living with a mobile phone has some disadvantages, I think mobile phones are the most important gadgets which have been invented in 90s. Nowadays, I coudn’t live without a mobile because I believe the high tecnology makes our lives easier but we should use it when it was necessary.

The first advantage is that there are some situations which you really need to be communicated like, in an emergency in car crash, or when you or somebody needs help or you only have to make a phone call to somebody at anywhere.
Secondly, you have other ways to get information by internet.
And, thirdly, you can send messages or text to somebody as another way of communication.

On the other hand, I think, there are many people who don’t know how or perhaps, where they have to use their moblile phones. We have seen many times someone talking on their moblile and driving at the same time. This is a dangerous situation for many people.
Secondly, when we are talking about “good manners”, we don’t still know where we have to take our mobile off.
Thirdly, we are getting sick because we are doing an excessive use of mobile phones.

In conclusion, the mobile phone is an useful device but, you should have to learn how to use it.

From my point of view, nowadays it’s very difficult to live without mobile.

A few years ago, the people lived without mobile, but since it appeared they mobile became a necessity.
But, is it a great invention?

I think there are advantages and disadvantages

The advantages are:
The first is that you can communicate with anyone, anytime, so you can have contact with family and friends living for away in another city or country.
The second is it can help you communicate in emergency situations, for example: when your car break or you have an emergency, accident …
The third is that you can connect to the internet, send messages, e-mail, and also be used as camera, video, alarm, radio, etc.

On the other hand, it also has disadvantages:
The first is expensive dependence or misuse that people have. They spend a lot of time talking on the phone and not related to family or friends. Many teenagers use a lot of internet how facebook, twiter, etc and they don’t meet people.
Other disadvantages are that the mobile interrupts the moments to be silent, this is bad manners.

I think there are both advantages and disadvantages.
I have to say that when mobile phones were invented twenty years ago, everybody thought that they were a great machine. In those years, to get a mobile was difficult and something very expensive. They were very big and heavy apparatuses.
In that moment, anybody had thought that mobile phones were apparatuses which would change the world communications.
Nowadays, technology has improved much and last models are apparatuses of last generation which allow talking; listening to music; taking photos or videos; playing games; sending messages; or searching on the Internet for instance.
Although there are some models which are very expensive, most are accessible or available for all people.
I’m going to explain some advantages and disadvantages of having a mobile:
• First, if you have a mobile phone when you need it really, you won’t have to look for a cabin immediately. You can use it without any problems, except if there isn’t money or signal.
• Another advantage of having a mobile is to have a lot of applications which you can use. Mobiles are like a tiny computer which you can carry everywhere.
• Last advantage for me is that you have your contacts organized and always you find them quickly. In them you can put their names, surnames, addresses, e-mails, etc….
On the other hand, there are also some disadvantages because to begin using a mobile you must be responsible and you must know what is right or wrong.
▪ You can make something which is banned by the law, as for example, to film other people without their consent. It is considered like interference to the intimacy. If you filmed somebody with your mobile, you would pay a fine and you would be able to go to prison.
▪ Secondly, if you have a mobile phone you will lose independence because with it you always will be localized and you will have to respond when it rings.
▪ Thirdly you must be careful because there are studies which maintain firmly that mobile phones are addictive and they can cause an addiction for using them in an irresponsible way. For instance, each time there are more therapies which are used to make people not depending on their mobile phones and they have to get used to live without it.
In conclusion, I think that mobile phones are a great invention because they are high-technology within one’s reach when we need them, but on the other hand, they require of a responsible use because if they are used badly, they will be harmful for us.
Besides, in some countries is totally prohibited talking on mobile while you are driving because this is the first cause of accidents in the traffic. Talking on mobile while you are driving distracts you and you lose concentration on the road. Although you use a hand-held mobile in your car, you lose concentration because you think in the conversation with the other person. If you used a hand-held mobile in your car, you would have to use it with moderation. You shouldn’t talk with it for more than 2-3 minutes. It’s dangerous.
There are people who if they had hung up their calls while they were driving in a road with many curves, they wouldn’t have had any traffic accidents. Although it’s very hard this is so. Driving a car is a responsible activity.
Besides, you always have the option to call back the lost call when you arrive at your destination. It’s the surest.

Nowadays, technology is very important to all of us. We use technology to communicate, improve general knowledge and much more. Many things have been developed, from year to year, century to century, but the most popular gadget is mobile phone, which make us easy to communicate with each other globally. We bring mobile phone with us in everywhere we go and we use it on a daily. Personally I didn’t use to take it with me all the time but now I usually use it even to check the time, as my watch so I have the cell phone the whole day with me. But, despite its advantages, there’re also some disadvantages of mobile phone too.

First of all, I´m going to list some advantages. Mobile phone is easy to use, communicate and handy. You can call anywhere, local or international. For example, if you have relatives or friends that live abroad, you´ll be able easily call them just in a minute, allowing you keep in touch with them without any problem. Also, you can surf on internet, listen to music, texting, play games, send or check email, making a note, use it as alarm, etc.

On the other hand, mobile phone is dangerous for us. It can be terrible for our health. In my opinion, if we talked too much on the phone, we could damage for hearing and infect our brain due to radiation. The other disadvantage is that it is wasted of time and money. I think the mobile companies are “the big business” and we are his guineas pigs. That´s really unfair! And that remind me another thing which I don´t like at all. When I´m on a vacation and relaxed on beach and just then the mobile vibrates and when I receive the call it is just another sales advertisement by the service company! There is also a huge risk, many people become addicted to mobile without realizing it and they are worthless without it so, you must be carefully!
In conclusion, I think mobile phone is a fantastic and amazing invention as long as we use it responsibly.

On the other hand, there are also disadvantages. For example, youngsters or children who don’t have a mobile phone may feel different from their school friends, and often won’t know what they are talking about. Also mobile phones have introduced modern bad manners because many people talk loudly on their mobile phone in public places and don’t switch off their mobile phone when it is necessary.
In conclusion, although mobile phones have some disadvantages, I think that they are a great invention. The most important is that people use them in a correct way.

The first advantage is that people always have a phone, so we can make and receive calls wherever we are. Secondly, we can call for help if we are in trouble or have an emergency. I think this is an important point. Thirdly, mobiles can be used for different things apart from talking: they can be used as a calculator, as a GPS, for listening to music, taking photos…

On the other hand, there are also some disadvantages. For example some people don´t switch off their mobiles anywhere, not even at a doctor´s or in class or they talk very loudly on their mobiles in public spaces, these bad manners may annoy other people. Also there are people who are obsess with their mobiles spending a lot of time and money talking on them. Finally I think that a lot of people feel nervous or anxious if they forget their mobiles at home.

In conclusion, I think that mobile phones have much more advantages than disadvantages, trying to live without them nowadays would be unrealistic, people should only try to cut down on the use of them.

What would you say?…….

Nowadays, everybody – well I´ll specify in the modern society- ouws at less a phone, even if there are people who have two or even three of them and of course it has advantages and disadvantages like all things, I think.

First of all, I´m going to speak about disadvantages, to finish with a good taste -advantages.

The first and the most important thing is the phone bill. It comes at the beginning each month and you have got to pay it as you had spoken for a whole month. It doesn´t mind whether you don´t speak or surf a lot on your mobile phone or if you have enough money to spending in it. Without a doubt there are other disadvantages but they aren´t as important as to thinking in them. So, now I´m going to look on the bright side of the phone.

Could anyone tell me, how many people there are who make a living selling this product or its accessories?

Of course, the mobile phone has tons of advantages. I mean, you can communicate with everyone, whenever you need – well, it´ll be as long as the line work. Id est, you can´t sometimes speak or surf because the line doesn´t work -you know, telephone companies that don´t operate well so you´ll become really angry but don´t worry a lot because the receipt will come next month and then you´ll get extremely angry.

Undoubtedly, phone has many more advantages than disadvantages, so I must say it had been a great invention, so from here I thanks to its-their inventor-es.

Many people today don’t just have a mobile phone, they have a smartphone like an Phone or a Blackberry. But is it a great invention? I think there are both advantages and disadvantages.

The first advantage is that people who have an iPhone or a Blackberry can access information immediately. For example, they can read and write emails, read newspapers online, look up any topic, can do video conferences, play,…

Secondly, I think that a smartphone like a Blackberry is a good innovation in the business world. Nowadays, it is not necessary to work in an office because if you have a Blackberry you can answer calls and emails wherever you want.

But on the other hand, I think there are people that can’t use these smartphones moderately, they don’t disconnect and they also have social problems. People of this kind use their smartphones all day long and when they are with a group of friends they are looking the screen, chatting, playing, reading, etc. They disconnect from what is around them.

Thirdly, workers with a blackberry have to work overtime because they can check emails at any time. Sometime this is a problem because they can’t disconnect from work on holiday or days off. If something happens when the worker is not in the office the boss and his/ her colleagues try to contact her through this blackberry.

In conclusion, having a smartphone like an iPhone or a Blackberry is a great invention for people but the important thing is how you use them.
