How the Earth might change by 2100
People often make predictions and share their visions of our world in the future.
Some scientists believe that by 2100 the population of our planet will have increased by 3–4 billion people and the most important issue will be the problem of food supply. We will have to turn the oceans into huge farms with plenty of fish and seaweed. I hope people will invent technology to control the weather and find reasonable solutions to global environmental problems. But if we fail to solve these problems, our planet might become unrecognizable by the year 2100. Planet-wide warming will lead to species extinction, an increased number of heat-waves, and more frequent wildfires and hurricanes.
We must do everything possible to save life on our beautiful planet.

Некоторые ученые считают, что к 2100 году население нашей планеты увеличится на 3–4 миллиарда человек и наиболее важной проблемой будет вопрос продовольственного снабжения. What Life Will Be Like in 2100
People have always been curious about the future. They often make predictions and share their visions of the world in a hundred years from now. Here is what I think about life in 2100.
Scientists believe that by 2100 the population of our planet will have increased by 3–4 billion people. Besides, life expectancy will probably reach 125, especially if we learn to make synthetic hearts, livers and other organs and find cures for all diseases. So the most important problem to solve will be the problem of food supply. In my opinion people will have to turn the oceans into huge farms where there will be plenty of fish and seaweed. Another significant problem will be controlling the weather. I hope people will be able to invent technology to stop hurricanes and tornadoes and to send rain where it is needed. I also think there will be fewer languages spoken in the world and all educated people will speak English and Mandarin. I am sure humanity will find reasonable solutions to global environmental problems. For example, all industrial enterprises could be hidden underground far beyond city boundaries. Thick forests will grow above the plants. Workers will go there by high-speed electric trains daily.
Perhaps my vision of the future is too hopeful, but I believe it is better to look to the future with optimism instead of negative ideas.

It’s hard to guess the future, but I think that in the future there will be houses of strange shapes and there will be many. Yes, there will be flying cars, well, there will be a lot of electronics. Probably they will even replace us. And we will all be lazy and probably the animal kingdom will decrease. And the prizendent will have many problems. Probably in the third world will not people fight but robots. And the economy will be too low. Well, in the future everything can be. Well, it’s better to live this time without looking at the future anyway, everything can be. The future is not to write and not to transmit, it is secret and will always be until the time machine is invented.

When I think about the future changes on our planet, I feel rather optimistic. As the technology rapidly progresses, many new things might come to use. For example, the space telescopes will soon send photographs of distant planets to Earth. The skyscrapers will become like separate cities, having all the necessary facilities in one building. People will be able to participate in space flights. Online romances will become more common. Robots will perform most household duties. They will also replace lots of professions. All these changes sound realistic, but nobody thinks about nature. Scientific and technologic advances can easily lead to natural collapses. The growing number of factories, their waste into the World Ocean and atmosphere are rather harmful. This means, while people will be enjoying life in smart houses and flats, animals will be dying out. The air will become so polluted that we’ll have to stay in our houses all the time and do everything from there. As I see it, life in the future will remind a real vacuum. People will work from their homes. They will buy fruit and vegetables grown only at the greenhouses. They will communicate with their relatives and friends via skype or other similar programs. If people continue leading such life, they will end up being lonely. On the other hand, I know that a growing number of people move to the countryside and create their own communities there. They build houses, that save energy. They try to use all natural resources reasonably. Hopefully, they will make life better on our planet.
2100 – distant future. Powerful technology, books will be gone, will replace their hologramy. Machines also will not be, as it will be more convenient transportation, and we will move through the air. Trees also would not be possible and many common animals will become extinct because people are very quickly destroying everything in their path for their own purposes. Factories will be so many that half the world will suffocate. Many wars will be in the future. Very often we are spoiling your life in the future. Maybe it’s time to stop, and just to love nature, not destroy their place under the sun in the year 2100?
2100 год – далёкое будущее. Мощные технологии, книг уже не будет, их заменят галограммы. Машин тоже не будет, так как появятся более удобный транспорт — и будем передвигаться мы по воздуху. Деревьев тоже не будет, возможно и многие привычные нам животные вымрут, потому что человек очень быстро уничтожает всё на своём пути для своих целей. Заводов и фабрик будет так много, что половина мира задохнётся. Множество войн будет в будующем. Очень часто мы сами портим себе жизнь в будующем. Может пора остановиться и просто любить природу, а не разрушать своё место под солнцем там в 2100 году?
