Some people prefer to live in a big city, while others would like to live in a small town or in the country.

Those people who live in a big city and those who live in a small town or in the country lead dif­ ferent ways of life. We choose where to live according to our preferences and character. There are a lot of advantages of living in a big city. Firstly, people have more opportunities to receive good education and to find a well-paid job there.

In any city there are a lot of educa­ tional establishments and a great number of firms which need qualified specialists.

Besides, there is a wide choice of entertainment in a big city. One can visit concert halls, theatres, muse­ ums, art galleries, cinemas, clubs, restaurants, cafes, discos and what not. To my mind, a big city gives people all modern conveniences and cultural opportunities. However, it is well-known that citizens suffer from a great number of problems such as traffic jams, huge crowds of people, dirty public transport and many others.

Living in a big city is dan­ gerous to your health.

Factories emit tons of harmful chemicals; cars exhaust toxic gas and the air is so dirty that it is hard to breathe. That is why a lot of people prefer living in the country to living in a big city. In a village one can enjoy fresh air, beautiful nature and the quietness of provincial life. To conclude, it’s up to you to decide whether to live in a city or in the country. But I think that if you are tired of noise, illumination and crowds, you can always leave a city and have a rest in the country to improve your health or just for a change of scene.

Nowadays most people prefer living in a big modern city. Many young people leave rural areas because they want to have the benefit of modern progress and develop themselves. However, if I could choose I would definitely live in the countryside.
To my mind, living in the country has much more advantages than living in the city. First of all, you are much closer to nature and can enjoy more peace and quiet. There are a lot of trees, forests, lakes and rivers. So you can go swimming, fishing, and hiking or just pick flowers and gather mushrooms. And the air there is much fresher, that is good for your health. Secondly, life in the country is much slower and people there tend to be more open and friendly. So you would have a large number of friends and acquaintances. What is more, there is much less traffic and the crime rate there is lower. As a result, people feel themselves in safety. Besides, the distances in the villages are shorter than in the cities. It is not a problem to move from one place to another.
I do not agree with those who choose to live in cities because I think it is too inconvenient. To begin with, life there is very expensive. You might have a job but unless it is well-paid you will not be able to afford many things. Moreover, public transport is often crowded and really dirty. The streets are noisy and after hardworking day people just cannot relax. Finally, big cities suffer of overpopulation and water and air pollution.
To conclude, there is no doubt that countries have more plus points in comparison with cities.

That place can fascinate us very much due to its light and luxury.Nowadays, more and more pople want to live there because they see many advantages. Lives in a big city are quite luxurius but you don’t have to be worried when you are sick or suffer a disease because there you can find good doctors for you, as long as you have muich money. What’s more, in a big city you can enjoy new entertainment such as new games or luxury games.

Many people can argue that living in a big city makes them tired with noise and dash. They like the slow pace of life in a countryside. But I think that you can live there for a long ime because the young always like to enjoy new things and want to have much money, which is very difficult to do in a countryside. However, when you get older, especially when you retire, a countryside wll the best choice to live.

In summary, living in a big city has many advantages. However, you have to try your best to overcome all difficulties such as hard competition in workplace or polluted environment. you shuold not complain when face up to disadvantages of it.
